NUR 1142 - Pharmacology II (1 Credit Hour) (A.S.)
One hour per week lecture.
Prerequisites/corequisites: successful completion of NUR 1141 (Pharmacology I) and NUR 1023 , and concurrent enrollment in or successful completion of NUR 1730 . Content includes the study of specific pharmacological agents with emphasis on the actions, interactions, adverse effects and nursing implications of each drug classification. Content related to drug dosage calculations used in critical-care and step-down units also will be reviewed during the course. Note(s): for nursing majors only
