NUR 1141 - Pharmacology I (2 Credit Hours) (A.S.)
Two hours per week of lecture.
Prerequisites/corequisites: admission to the ADN Program and concurrent enrollment in or successful completion of NUR 1023 . Included in the course is an introduction to the science of pharmacology with emphasis on the actions, interactions, adverse effects and nursing implications of selected drug classifications. Topics include roles and responsibilities of the nurse in safe administration of medications within a legal/ethical framework. Note(s): for nursing majors only
