MAT 1033 - Intermediate Algebra (3 Credit Hours) (A.A./A.S./A.A.S.)
Prerequisites: MAT 0024 , MAT 0028 or equivalent.
This course meets Area II of the A.A.S. general education requirements. This course includes the study of real numbers, linear and quadratic equations, linear inequalities, systems of linear equations, exponents, polynomials, factoring, rational expressions and related equations, radicals, quadratic formula, completing the square, complex numbers, absolute value, graphing and applications. Additional special fees are required. Students who have credit for MAC 1102 or 1105 cannot subsequently get credit for MAT 1033.
