MAT 0024 - Basic Algebra College Preparatory

Prerequisites: MAT 0002 or MAT 0012 or equivalent preparation in arithmetic content and skills as per placement testing.

This course includes basic algebra concepts and skills that are needed for success in higher level courses. Topics include real numbers, polynomials, rational expressions, graphing, radicals, factoring and solving linear and quadratic equations and applications. Additional special fees are required. Fall 2011 only, becomes MAT 0028 effective Spring 2012.
