Prerequisites: ENC 1101 with a grade of “C” or better.
This course meets area iv requirements for the A.A./A.S. general education requirements and the Gordon rule requirement. This course presents an intercultural survey of the humanistic arts and letters including the western canon, from the perspective of various cultures that may include the west, the middle east, Africa, the Americas, and the far east from the 17th century through the 19th century focusing on the intellectual and artistic eras of the enlightenment and romanticism.
