Prerequisites: ENC 1101 and concurrent registration in or completion of ENC 1102 with a grade of “C” or better.
This course meets area iv of the A.A./A.S. general education requirement and the 6000 word Gordon Rule requirement. The course examines the origin and development of literary conventions unique to the genre as developed by writers from a variety of cultural experiences including selections from the western canon.
