ASL 2200C - American Sign Language IV

Four hours per week. Includes one hour of laboratory work. Prerequisites:  

 

This course is an integration of expressive and receptive skills in American Sign Language with an emphasis on culturally appropriate discourse styles and contextualization.  Students are given instruction regarding idiomatic and colloquial usages of signs.  Additional complex grammatical topics such as classifiers, role-shifting, use of space and contrastive structure will be included.
