DEH 2822 - Dental Office Emergencies

(1 Credit Hour)
(A.S.)


One lecture hour per week. Prerequisites: DEH 1000  and DEH 1002  

Corequisites: DEH 1800   This course is designed to develop the dental hygiene student’s skill to plan for, identify and manage a medical emergency in the dental office, including those in conjunction with the administration of local anesthesia.  Also included is the specific protocol for the management of a medical emergency in the SCF Dental Hygiene Clinic.
