NUR 3145 - Pharmacology

Prerequisites: NUR 3805  or permission of BSN program director.

This course builds on prior nursing knowledge to advance understanding of pharmacology and medication administration. Emphasis is placed on applying pharmacodynamic principles and evidence-based practice to promote patient safety and quality outcomes. Content addresses healthcare policy, ethics, technology, communication, and resilience factors influencing medication adherence and patient outcomes.
