Prerequisites: NUR 3805 or permission of BSN program director.
Builds on prior nursing knowledge to examine mechanisms of disease and their clinical manifestations across diverse populations. Students analyze epidemiological patterns and long-term implications of physiologic alterations. Scholarly literature is synthesized to support clinical decision making. Ethical considerations related to chronic illness and health disparities are explored.
