MAC 2311 - Calculus with Analytic Geometry I (4 Credit Hours) (A.A.)
Prerequisites: MAC 2147 or MAC 1140 and MAC 1114 or placement score and department approval.
This course meets Area II for both the A.A. and A.S. general education requirements. This is the first of a three-course sequence consisting of MAC 2311, MAC 2312 and MAC 2313 . This course includes the study of limits, differentiation and integration of algebraic, trigonometric and transcendental functions. Students already with credit for MAC 2311 cannot subsequently get credit for MAC 2233 . Note(s): Student enrollment in any mathematics course is contingent upon approval by the mathematics department. This means that students who have been misplaced may be subject to schedule changes. Students must have successfully completed the stated prerequisite course with a grade of “C” or better.
