COP 2170 - Visual Basic Programming (4 Credit Hours) (A.A.S./A.S)
Four hours lecture per week, plus laboratory as assigned by instructor. Prerequisites: Strongly recommended COP 2510 .
This course introduces object-oriented programming using Visual Basic. Topics covered include object concepts (objects, properties, methods, events) and programming concepts (data types, sequence, selection, iteration, functions, subprogram, parameter passing, arrays, and files). Application development techniques are stressed. Additional special fee is required. Offered as COP 2171 prior to Fall 2011.
