PHY 2048 - General Physics I with Calculus (3 Credit Hours) (A.A.)
Three hours lecture. Prerequisites: completion of MAC 2311 with a grade of “C” of better.
Corequisites: PHY 2048L This course meets Area V requirements for the A.A/A.S. general education requirements. This calculus-based course serves as the first in a two-part series, covering topics like kinematics, dynamics, energy, momentum, rotational motion, fluid dynamics, oscillatory motion, and waves. Designed for science and engineering majors, the course integrates critical thinking, analytical skills, and real-world applications. Note(s): lease note that students who withdraw from lecture or lab will be withdrawn from the appropriate co-requisite course.
