EEX 4603 - Behavior Management in the Preschool

.Students will develop skills and competencies in classroom management, child guidance, and effective communication of behavioral expectations to children, parents, and other school community members. This course focuses on strategies and methods to support young children in developing pro-social skills within a developmentally appropriate program, fostering a positive and caring environment. Students will gain an understanding of the core standards for early childhood education and professional competencies. A minimum of 15 hours of field-based experience is required, which must be completed during the term in which the course is taken. This experience should be conducted in an early learning center, working with children from birth to age 4.
