EAP 1520 - Reading 5

(3 Credit Hours)

Prerequisites: Placement by State College of Florida EAP placement tool or successful completion of  EAP 0486 . Placement may also be made by PERT with the permission of the Department Chair or Program Coordinator.

This is an advanced level reading course for English language learners  designed to increase their vocabulary and their ability to comprehend lengthier texts on diverse academic topics by applying appropriate reading strategies.  Please note that no more than a total of twelve (12) combined credits from EAP courses may count towards A.A. elective credits. Students are advised to consult the transfer university about the number of transferable credits for EAP courses.
