NUR 2732C - Nursing Practice IV (10 Credit Hours) (A.S.)
This course provides six hours of lecture and twelve hours of clinical experience per week. Prerequisites: Successful completion of NUR 1023C , NUR 1023L , NUR 1730C , NUR 1730L , NUR 2703C or NUR 2703L , NUR 2731C , and NUR 2731L .
Corequisites: Concurrent enrollment in NUR 2732L and/or successful completion of NUR 2813 . This course is designed to assimilate the concepts within the three domains of the Individual, Nursing and Healthcare. Concepts related to the Individual include fluid/electrolytes, metabolism, perfusion, mobility, stress/coping, violence, and health-wellness-illness. Concepts related to Nursing include assessment, professional behaviors, and caring interventions. Concepts related to healthcare include managing care, healthcare systems, and quality improvement. Additional special fee is required. Note(s): For nursing majors only.
