Program Goal

The purpose of this program is to prepare students for employment in the field of marketing. This includes working as a marketing manager in small and medium-sized businesses, as a sales representative for a variety of businesses, working in the field of advertising and in management of retail establishments.

Area of Specialization

All students must complete the academic courses and general business courses. A student then will specialize by completing the specialization courses as noted.

** A grade of “C” or better must be attained for each core course and the courses meeting the general education requirements for this degree.

+ Effective Fall 2013, no new students are being accepted into an A.A.S. degree program. Students currently enrolled will have two years (Summer 2015) to complete the A.A.S. specific requirements of the program. The only difference of the A.A.S. from the A.S. curriculum for this particular program is that of one math course QMB 1001  .

This program will require some or all classes to be taken at one campus location. Contact the program director for specific details.
