Program Description and GoalThe Bachelor of Applied Science in Health Services Administration Program prepares individuals to develop, plan, and manage health care operations and services. Graduates acquire desired workforce skills in human services, health financial management, health information systems and an understanding of health care issues. This program prepares students for careers in a wide range of management and administrative positions in health-related organizations and health service delivery systems. Job opportunities may include clinical and laboratory manager, health care facility coordinator, and department manager among other administrative and managerial positions in hospitals, ambulatory care, physician group practices, social service agencies, long-term care facilities, rehabilitation centers and other health-related businesses. |
