MVW 2325B - Applied Saxophone IIB

One hour per week. Prerequisites: MVW 2325  or equivalent.

This course includes the continued development of reading, technique and repertoire to the advanced level and continued study of scales, chords, arpeggios and other technical exercises. All students perform in one student recital and exhibit their development through jury examination at the end of the term. Degree-seeking students who are making progress in their degree programs may repeat this course a maximum of two (2) times; however, no more than a total of eight (8) combined credits from applied music may count toward elective credits. Students are advised to consult the transfer university about the number of transferrable credits for applied music courses. Additional special fees are required.
