MUH 2110 - Introduction to Music History and Literature

Three hours per week. Prerequisites: ENC 1101 and MUT 1111, with grade of “C” or better in each.

This course meets Area IV of the A.A./A.S. general education requirements, the Gordon Rule requirement and part of the International/Intercultural requirement. This course is a survey of music literature from the Middle Ages to the present. Emphasis is placed on musical forms and performing mediums for Western Heritage and their development through the ages.
