MUT 2246 - Aural Theory III

Three hours per week. Prerequisites: MUT 1242 with a grade of “C” or better.

This course is required of music premajors and must be taken concurrently with MUT 2116. This course is designed to continue training in aural recognition and vocal realization of materials used in music composition. Classes include rhythmic, melodic and harmonic dictation and sight singing. A CAI laboratory for individual aural skills drill and practice is provided.
