AER 2598 - Brake Systems and Chassis Repair

Prerequisites: AER 1081.

This course is designed to teach the theory, design and operation of braking systems. Topics include drum brake systems, disc brake systems, hydraulics, power assist systems and anti-lock braking systems. Special emphasis is given to safety procedures and the specific tools and equipment used in diagnosis and repair. Note(s): Course taught at Sarasota County Technical Institute
