NUR 2703C - Nursing Transition (6 Credit Hours) (A.S.)
Prerequisites/corequisites: NUR 2703L and either successful completion of NUR 1141 and NUR 1142 by challenge or independent study by the end of NUR 2703C. The content of this course is specifically designed for the licensed practical nurse (LPN) who wants to advance into the registered nurse (RN) role. It is designed to assess and validate the LPN’s knowledge and skills, and to supplement those content areas not included in the traditional LPN curriculum that are covered in NUR 1023 and NUR 1730 . Emphasis is placed on the transition from the LPN to the RN role. Upon successful completion of NUR 2703C, advanced placement credit will be awarded in lieu of NUR 1023 , NUR 1730 and NUR 1141 .
