MUT 1111 - Music Theory I

Three hours per week. Prerequisites: MUT 1001 with a grade of “C” or better or satisfactory completion of placement exam.
This course is required of all music pre-majors and must be taken concurrently with MUT 1241C and MVK 1111A . This course includes the development of skills in perceiving and writing music through the use of aural and visual analysis and examples from all historical periods of music literature.
