Prerequisites: MAT 0002, MAT 0012, MAT 0018 or equivalent preparation in arithmetic content and skills as per placement testing.

This course includes basic algebra concepts and skills that are needed for success in higher level courses. Topics include real numbers, polynomials, rational expressions, graphing, radicals, factoring and solving linear and quadratic equations and applications. Additional special fees are required.
