BSC 2010 - Fundamentals of Biology I (3 Credit Hours) (A.A.)
Three hours lecture. Prerequisites: CHM 1025 and CHM 1025L with a grade of “C” or better or one year of high school preparatory chemistry.
Corequisites: BSC 2010L This course meets Area V requirements for the A.A./A.S. general education requirement. In this course students will apply the scientific method to critically examine and explain the natural world. This course will cover molecular biology, cellular biology, genetics, metabolism, and replication. It is strongly recommended that students without recent coursework in biology first take BSC 1007 and BSC 1007L Please note that students who withdraw from lecture or lab will be withdrawn from the appropriate co-requisite course.
