TSL 4081 - TESOL Issues and Practices

Prerequisites: TSL 3080

This course is designed to teach the issues, principles, and practices of teaching English to speakers of other languages (ESOL). It prepares classroom teachers to provide linguistically and culturally appropriate instruction and assessment for ESOL students. It provides the foundation of knowledge necessary to meet the needs of linguistically and culturally diverse students. This course has a minimum of 20-hour field experience.
