MUM 2630 - Sound for Media

Prerequisites/corequisites: MUT 1112 or instructor permission. This course is the practical application of music and sound to media projects including broadcast, film, podcast, web, and game audio design. The course explores the application music production and composition to media including techniques of composition, notation, and recording in dialogue with other media. This course is designed to develop recording studio skills and experience using hands on training, digital editing, recording project management, artist collaboration, music notation for performance, and final mixing techniques.
