NUR 2731L - Nursing Practice III Laboratory

This course provides twelve hours of clinical experience per week. Prerequisites: Successful completion of NUR 1023C, NUR 1023L, NUR 1730C, NUR 1730L or NUR 2703C and NUR 2703L.

Corequisites: Concurrent enrollment in NUR 2731C. This course is designed to further develop the application of the basic concepts within the three domains of Nursing: Individual, Nursing, and Healthcare. Emphasis is placed on health promotion, prevention, and alterations in reproduction as it pertains to the individual’s life cycle. Concepts related to the Individual domain includes select topics of biophysical, psychosocial, and sexuality. The Nursing domain includes aspects distinct to nursing practice and the profession. The course promotes the student to incorporate prior knowledge and newly acquired concepts within the Healthcare environmen Note(s): For nursing majors only.
